Using The Traffic Exchanges

Although they have been around for a while, traffic exchanges are a good way to increase the amount of traffic that you are receiving at your website.

How The Exchanges Work:

Most traffic exchanges work on a ratio basis. What that means is that you become a member of the traffic exchange and then you just have to view a set number of sites on the exchange before and in exchange for your site to be seen. Normally this ratio is 2:1. Thus the name.

General Types of Exchanges:

There are generally two types of traffic exchanges, they are:
1. Auto-surf and,
2. Manual Surf
Auto-surf traffic exchanges are just as the name describes; you evter the exchange and the featured site is automatically displayed for a certain period of time enrd then the next site is loaded into your browser window.

Manual surfs operate te same way with the exception that a real person has to manually click on a certain icon to load the next featured site.

We will not feature any auto-surf sites here because it makes no sense to us to have your visitor count increase if a real person is not physically viewing you ad.
